1. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel a paid Clawgnition storage plan from the billing portal at any time. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Access to your paid storage allowance continues until then unless the account is suspended for fraud, abuse, a payment dispute, or another Terms violation. Reads and restores of data you already stored stay open regardless.
2. Refund eligibility
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins. We will correct duplicate charges, charges caused by a verified Clawgnition billing error, and other charges that applicable law requires us to refund. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate it promptly.
3. Storage charges
Storage-plan charges that accurately reflect the allowance provided for a billing period are non-refundable once that period begins. Storage is a flat, quota-based charge with no metered overage — reads, restores, and egress are always free — so there are no usage-based line items to reconcile. A refund does not preserve a storage entitlement after the associated paid period ends.
4. Service incidents
Early-access downtime does not automatically create a cash-refund entitlement. When a material Clawgnition incident prevents paid use for a sustained period, we may issue a discretionary account credit. Credits have no cash value and are applied through Stripe to future eligible charges.
5. How to request a correction
Email billing@clawgnition.ai with the account email, invoice or charge identifier, amount, and a short explanation. Do not send card numbers, API keys, backup encryption keys, or other secrets. We may ask for additional non-secret evidence needed to match the charge.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits a refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
