Cannot
Read your data.
Everything is sealed on your phone before upload. We hold ciphertext, never the key, and the assistant never sends us anything to read.
Private beta · iPhone and Android
Eight everyday apps share one vault on your phone. An AI assistant answers from inside it, on the device. And every backup is sealed before it leaves, so the only person who can read it is you.
01 — The superapp
Your notes, people, photos, passwords, shared costs, tasks, documents and plans usually live in eight different companies’ clouds. Here they live in one app, on one private vault, on your phone — and they work fully offline, because there is nothing to be offline from.
Write and revisit durable notes.
Your circle, remembered. A personal address book with memory.
Browse and protect your photos. Each one backs up once, then you can free up space.
Logins, cards, Wi-Fi and one-time codes, opened with your face or fingerprint.
Split costs with the people you share them with. See who’s settled.
Capture the next thing to do, and the thing after that.
A drive for the documents that matter, with every change kept in its history.
Dates, events and plans, kept together.
02 — The assistant
Ask in plain words. It reads across your notes, agenda, people and tasks to answer, and it runs on the device itself — so neither your question nor the data behind the answer goes to a server. Not ours, not anyone’s.
This phone
Example conversation: asked when Maya’s birthday is and whether a gift was bought, the assistant answers from People and Tasks, then adds a reminder to Tasks.
03 — Encrypted backups
Before anything leaves your phone, it is encrypted with a key only you hold. We store the sealed result. We cannot open it, and neither can anyone who gets hold of it.
Illustration: a note on your phone is sealed into unreadable ciphertext, then stored in the vault as an anonymous object.
Backup Facts
Per vault · end-to-end encrypted
We cannot read your data. If you lose your 24 words, we cannot recover your data.
The words are the key. Write them down, and keep them somewhere you would keep a passport.
There is no password reset and no copy of the key on our side. That is what makes the backup private, and it is also why we say plainly: key loss means data loss, by design.
What we cannot do
A private app is one that structurally cannot betray you. These are limits by design, not policies we promise to follow.
Cannot
Everything is sealed on your phone before upload. We hold ciphertext, never the key, and the assistant never sends us anything to read.
Cannot
Only you hold the 24 words. Lose them and we cannot recover your data — there is no escrow, no reset, no back door.
Cannot
Taking everything out is free, any time. Reads stay open in every account state, even if you stop paying.
Private beta
Clawgnition is opening to the first 100 people by invite. Request an invite below.
One private app for your phone: eight apps — Notes, People, Photos, Locker, Tally, Tasks, Docs and Agenda — sharing one vault, an AI assistant that runs on the device, and end-to-end encrypted backups.
No. It runs on your phone and works offline. Your questions, and the notes, events and people it reads to answer them, stay on the device.
No. Backups are encrypted on your phone with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before they upload, and even the stored object names are scrambled. We hold sealed bytes and never the key.
Install the app on a new phone and enter your 24 words. Your vault is rebuilt from the sealed backup and checked for integrity, then your photos and files follow.
Then we cannot recover your data. Only you ever hold the key, so key loss means data loss, by design. Keep the words somewhere durable and offline.
Nothing. Storage is comped during the private beta and no card is required. Prices are not set yet; beta members hear about billing first.
